What you can expect and is included:

• total non-smoking place (incl. the terrace)
• WIFI (fast and strong)
• weekly cleaning of apartment and bathroom
• weekly change of sheets and towels
• a bike at your disposal (when in Rome, do as the Romans do…)
• your private fully furnished room in a newly built apartment in the centre of Interlaken
• shared use of all facilities and space
• located right by the Aare river, surrounded by mountains and providing great views. Lovely walking or running right from the door step.
• easy access to Thun lake (10 min by bike) for a swim in the summer

What we expect

• Respect and consideration of others
• Taking responsibility for your own well-being. No excess of alcohol or other substance.
• Contribution to a good Coliving vibe = > the more you put in, the more you get out.
• 6 weeks minimum stay, no vacation or short term stays
• Payment for 6 weeks up front
• A deposit is to be paid with the first rent (damage to any parts of the apartment and building will be professionally repaired at the tenant's cost.)
• You are solely responsible for all legal provisions to stay and work in Interlaken, Kanton Berne. There are at least two ways of doing so:
  • If you stay as a guest in Interlaken (max. 3 months) you are liable to city tax: CHF 2.80 /night. You will be given a blue visitor's card that allows you to use Interlaken busses for free and be eligible to discounts for certain tourist attractions.
  • If you stay and work you have to register as an Interlaken citizen with the local authorities, pay taxes and obviously be in possession of a work permit.

You might have heard about this little town in the Swiss Alps, right there by the snow capped mountains, and people said it's the adventure sports capital of Europe. Maybe you came years ago and loved it. You were sure to return but as so many really great ideas, it just slipped down your to do list and eventually you forgot all about it.

But now, this is your chance to put it back on your bucket list, right at the very top and just do it - in quite a different way: come and live here for any period of time from 6 weeks to 2 years.
